Getting Started

Downloading the App

You can download the Beed app for free from the App Store or Google Play Store. The app works on iOS and Android devices.

Creating an Account

When you first open the app, you can register with your email address or Google/Apple account. You can also use the app anonymously, but you may need to create an account for some features.

Features

Development Area Selection

You can view development areas by clicking the "Select Development Area" button on the main screen. Each development area has Long-term Goals and Short-term Goals options below it.

Performance Tracking

You can keep performance records for the Short-term Goals you have selected. From the "Education Plan" section, you can view your selected Short-term Goals and enter performance for behaviors.

Expert Support

You can contact expert users, make appointments, and receive consultation services. You can view expert profiles and choose the appropriate one.

Changing Language

The app supports 50+ languages. You can select a language from the Settings section. Content will be automatically translated to your selected language.

Troubleshooting

App Won't Open

Try closing and reopening the app. If the problem persists, restart your device. If you're still experiencing issues, update or reinstall the app.

Translation Not Working

Check your internet connection. An active internet connection is required for the translation feature. Check your language settings and try again.

Data Lost

Make sure you are signed in with your account. Your data is associated with your account. In anonymous usage, data is stored on your device.

Using Zoom with Beed

Online consultations may be conducted via third-party video conferencing services such as Zoom, subject to their own terms and availability.

Connecting your Zoom account

As an expert user, you can connect your Zoom account to Beed to schedule and manage online sessions. To connect:

  1. Open the Beed app and sign in with your expert account.
  2. Go to the Appointments or Availability Management section.
  3. Tap "Connect Zoom" (or a similar button).
  4. Follow the instructions in your browser to sign in to Zoom and authorize the Beed App.

After authorization, return to the Beed app and refresh the Zoom connection status.

Scheduling and joining meetings

When Zoom is connected, Beed can create Zoom meetings for your scheduled sessions. Meeting details and join links are shown inside the Beed app so that you and your clients can join easily.

Beed uses only meeting metadata (such as meeting ID, topic, time, and join URL) and does not record or store the audio, video, or chat content of your meetings.

Disconnecting or removing Zoom

You can disconnect Zoom at any time:

  • From inside Beed, using the option to disconnect Zoom in your expert settings.
  • From Zoom, by uninstalling the Beed App in the Zoom App Marketplace under “Installed Apps”.

Zoom troubleshooting

If you experience issues with the Zoom integration, please check the following:

  • Make sure your Zoom account is active and allowed to install apps.
  • Confirm that you are signed in to the same Zoom account you used during authorization.
  • Use a supported browser when authorizing Zoom (not an unsupported in-app browser).
  • Check your internet connection and try again.
