How to delete your Beed account and what happens to your data
How to delete your account in the app
You can delete your account directly from within the Beed app by following these steps:
- Open the Beed app on your device
- Navigate to Settings
- Go to Account
- Select Delete Account
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion
If you cannot access the app
If you cannot access the Beed app to delete your account, you can request account deletion by email.
Please send an email to support@beed-app.com from your registered email address with the following information:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Registered email address: The email address associated with your Beed account
- User ID (optional): If you have your user ID, please include it
- Request: A brief statement requesting account deletion
We will verify your identity and process your deletion request accordingly.
What data is deleted
When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- Your account profile data (name, email address, profile photo)
- User-generated content associated with your account (posts, comments, messages)
- Education plans and performance records
- Development tracking data
- Expert profile information (if applicable)
- Appointment history and related data
Retention and legal obligations
When an account deletion request is completed, all personal data associated with the account is permanently deleted.
Some limited data (such as security logs or records required to comply with legal obligations) may be retained for a short period. This data is not used for any other purpose and is automatically deleted within a maximum of 30 days.
Processing time
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. Once processed, your account and associated data will be permanently deleted from our systems.
